Oh, boy!

Teenage boys, when they reach a certain age, they begin to have this fascination for motorbikes.

I don't know if this happens to all teenage boys, but it happens to teenage boys I know, my lovely brother included.

My brother proposed the idea of owning a motorbike to my father. My father rejected the idea of fear of the danger a motorbike can cause.

Later on, my father began to consider it because he thought if my brother were to have a motorbike, the problem, involving sending and picking him up from school and elsewhere, would be solved.

My father sought the opinions of his sisters. Only my little sister agreed to the idea. Since the majority disagreed, getting a motorbike is a NO.

Yesterday, the fear that my father had, came to reality, when my brother was involved in a VERY minor accident after riding a motorbike with a friend. He has scratches and bruises on his face and hand.

Of course, my father is not allowing him to ride on a motorbike anymore.

Somehow, my brother seems to be proud of the accident. He even showed off his medications.

That's another thing I notice about boys. They seem proud, when they get hurt. That's a way for them to prove their manliness.
