The men in black team has topped Group D and made it to the next round! The guy who was trying so hard to score goals during the last matches, finally made it! It was Mesut Özil's first ever World Cup goal at the 60th minute that has secured Germany a place in the top 16.
When asked who would replace Klose for this match, the coach, Joachim Löw, didn't give a straight answer and just praised Badstuber. However, he let Badstuber sit on the bench for this match. Instead, he placed Cacau and Boateng. It's funny, Boateng has a brother in the Ghana team. So, he had to play against his own brother.
Both teams were equally good. However, the German defense team have done a better job. Only one yellow card was given out to the German team and it was for Müller, who was later replaced by Trochowski. I was wondering where Lukas Podolski was. He didn't stand out as he was in the last game.
Germany is playing against England on Sunday, 27th June 2010 at 16:00 German time and 10pm Malaysian time. England better watch out!
